iPhone HD (iPhone 4G) Goes Hands On, Real Life Unit Leaked in San Jose

The iPhone HD has leaked! This is a phrase you’ll be hearing a lot in the coming months, at least till this summer, when the real iPhone 4G gets launched. Right now, we’re dealing with a leaked unit, that got some hands on images posted on Engadget and apparently this could actually be the real thing.



We have to mention that the story behind this handset is quite funny: apparently it was found on the floor of a San Jose bar, inside an iPhone 3G case. What we know about it is that it sports a front facing camera, 80GB of storage and it can’t boot right now, although it did previously, showing a cool new OS (possibly iPhone OS 4.0).

The really interesting thing is that this device resembles very much the one pictured in February via a Twitpic, that we’ve shown you at the end of this article. The iPhone leaked back then featured larger mic holes and a mysterious button/SIM slot. Is this the REAL thing?
